Odysseus is a groundbreaking Finnish live-action roleplaying game (or larp) inspired my Battlestar Galactica. Odysseus was first played in 2019, and this year's run is a remastered version of the original larp. Part scifi adventure, part intense drama, the game explores the inner turmoils of societies and human beings after a catastrophic collapse.

Live-action roleplaying is - especially in its Nordic form - an immersive experience in which the participants play the roles of characters set in the game creators' narrative vision. Games can be set in any genre or time period, and the participants can experience the lives and feelings of characters of widely different aspects of life.

Odysseus is a massive production organised by Illusia ry with over 200 volunteers and several partners, including professionals with decades of experience on project management, software engineering, technology, marketing, and set design among other fields. Together we will transform the school building into a realistic starship!

We will be arranging an Open doors event on July 9th where it is possible for anyone to join us for guided tours around the ship.
